Most birthday boat hire in Brisbane means a fixed route and a bar tab. This is the opposite. The Axopar 24 carries your group and no one else, and the day goes wherever the celebration wants it to: snorkelling the Tangalooma Wrecks, a long lunch anchored off a sandbar that disappears at high tide, a swim off the back of the boat. Beaches and sandbars are public places, so Jeremy chooses a quiet setting for the tide and the conditions on the day.
Captain Jeremy, owner and marine scientist, has spent years on this bay and handles everything from the helm, which means the host actually gets to enjoy the party too.

A 30th, 40th or 50th deserves better than a restaurant booking. Six hours on the bay with your closest people is the kind of birthday that gets retold for years.

- Exclusive private use of the boat, with no shared charters and no strangers. Captain Jeremy, owner-operator and marine scientist, hosts your whole day: 6 hours on the water with a flexible itinerary read to the day's conditions. Fuel and skipper included.
- Lunch and drinks
- A gourmet French-style picnic lunch of cured meats and prosciutto, smoked salmon, seasonal fruit and fresh pastries from local bakers, served on a sandbar (lobster rolls from Sea Salt available on request). A complimentary glass of champagne offered on arrival, plus organic juices, water and soft drinks.
- In the water
- All snorkelling gear, sized for your group, and towels. Marine-life guidance from someone who studies this bay.
- Before you board
- All route planning and logistics handled before you step aboard, and a quick guest form after booking covering swim confidence and gear sizes so everyone is fitted and safe. No per-person ferry or tour fees: the price is the whole boat.

Every rate is for the whole boat, never per person, with no bar tab and no add-ons to chase. The standard rate applies on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Queensland public holidays. Midweek rates apply automatically to Monday to Thursday departures.

How many guests can we bring?
Seven guests maximum, plus Captain Jeremy, and children count towards that total. The Axopar 24 is a day boat, not a party pontoon, and seven is where it stays comfortable and safe. If your group is bigger, we are happy to suggest how to split the celebration across two days.
Can we bring our own drinks and a birthday cake?
Complimentary champagne is included with your private charter. If you would like to bring something extra for the day, let Jeremy know when you book. There is a fridge and ice aboard, and Jeremy will keep a birthday cake out of sight until the moment is right.
Can you help organise a surprise?
Yes, and it is one of our favourite jobs. Tell Jeremy the plan before the day and he coordinates it quietly: the timing, the anchor spot, the cake appearing at exactly the right moment. As far as the birthday guest knows, it is just a beautiful day on the bay until it is not.
What if someone in the group gets seasick?
Moreton Bay is sheltered water, far calmer than the open ocean, and Jeremy plans the route around the conditions on the day. Much of the day is spent anchored at sandbars and islands where the water is flat. If anyone is prone to motion sickness, a standard travel tablet taken before departure almost always does the trick.
How does midweek pricing work?
Midweek rates apply automatically to Monday to Thursday departures. The standard rate applies on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Queensland public holidays. The Private Day for Two: $1,390 per boat for two guests. $1,290 Monday to Thursday. The Island Getaway: $1,890 per boat for up to four guests. $1,690 Monday to Thursday. The Ultimate Escape: $2,400 per boat for up to seven guests. $2,200 Monday to Thursday. 30% deposit today, balance due 7 days before your charter. Cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund.
