Sea La Vie hosts one group at a time, up to seven guests, for about six hours on Moreton Bay. Charters are priced per boat, never per person. $1,390 per boat for two guests. $1,290 Monday to Thursday. Rates for up to four and up to seven guests are below.

What a private charter with Sea La Vie includes
Everything is aboard before you step on. Exclusive use of the boat for your group alone, and Captain Jeremy hosting the whole day: owner, marine scientist (Conservation Biology, UQ), more than a decade on the bay, and the only crew you'll meet.
A French style picnic lunch served on the sand, with fresh pastries from local bakers. Complimentary champagne is included with your private charter, alongside organic juices, water and soft drinks. Snorkelling gear sized to the group, towels, fuel, and all route planning read to the day's conditions.
There is no BYO list and nothing to organise. If you would like to bring something extra for the day, let Jeremy know when you book.

Every rate is per boat and all inclusive. The standard rate applies Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Queensland public holidays. Monday to Thursday rates are applied automatically when you book online.

Charters depart from the New Farm Powerhouse pontoon in the inner city, or from Manly Boat Harbour, about 25 to 30 minutes by car from the Brisbane CBD with easy parking. At Manly you meet the boat at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron, 578 Royal Esplanade. We confirm the departure point that suits your group when you book. From Manly the crossing to Moreton Island is about 45 minutes, conditions permitting, and New Farm adds about 15 minutes down the river. The day itself follows the conditions: snorkelling the Tangalooma Wrecks, wading onto sandbars that appear and go with the tide, and settling into a French style table on the water.
Scarborough Harbour, Redcliffe peninsula
Scarborough is available by arrangement for guests staying on the Redcliffe peninsula or in the northern bay. It is the same private charter, departing from Scarborough instead of Brisbane. Ask when you enquire so Jeremy can confirm timing and availability for your date.

A shared day runs to a published timetable that everyone aboard shares. A private charter runs to yours: the boat is booked for your group alone, the route is planned with Captain Jeremy around the conditions, and the only other person aboard is the captain. Is it really private?
Yes. One booking per charter. The boat is reserved for your group alone, every time.
How many people can come?
Up to seven guests, the maximum under our commercial survey, and children count towards that total. The price covers the boat, not a head count.
Where do we go?
The itinerary follows the conditions on the day. Moreton Island may include the Tangalooma Wrecks and beach stops. Amity and North Stradbroke are a different part of the bay, chosen according to conditions. Jeremy confirms the plan with you on the morning.
What if the weather turns?
If Jeremy cancels before departure for weather or safety, you choose an agreed alternative date or a full refund. Date changes are free and subject to availability. A charter that runs safely is not refunded because conditions were less than ideal.

Check your date online, or call 0468 930 952. 30% deposit today, balance due 7 days before your charter. A booking made inside seven days is payable in full. Cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund. The full terms are on our terms page.
