A private day on Moreton Bay from your cruise ship
One group, the whole boat, and back before all-aboard. Tell us your ship's all-aboard time and we build the day backwards from it.
- About 6 hours
- Up to 7 guests
- Departs New Farm Powerhouse
Your group, the whole boat
A port day usually means a coach, a queue and a crowd. This is the other way to spend it: a fast private boat, Captain Jeremy, owner and marine scientist, and nobody aboard but the people you came with. You choose the pace. Jeremy chooses the water, reading the wind and the tide so the day goes where the bay is calmest and clearest.
Tell us your ship's all-aboard time and we build the day backwards from it. The return is fixed first, with time to spare, and everything else fits inside it.
Getting to the boat
The Brisbane International Cruise Terminal is at Pinkenba, near the mouth of the river. From there to the New Farm Powerhouse is about 20 minutes by taxi or rideshare. The Powerhouse pontoon is at 119 Lamington Street, New Farm, and that is where Jeremy meets you. We do not arrange the transfer: take a taxi or a rideshare from the terminal and tell us roughly when you expect to clear the ship.
What fits in a port day
A typical day leaves New Farm at 9:30, runs down the river and across the bay to the Tangalooma Wrecks or a sandbar for snorkelling and a swim, stops for lunch on the water, and is back at the Powerhouse by 3:30. That allows a 4:30pm all-aboard with an hour in hand for the ride back to the terminal. Your exact times are confirmed for your ship's schedule when you book.

Questions
- What if the ship is late?
- We watch your ship’s arrival on the morning and adjust the departure. The return does not move: the day is built backwards from your all-aboard time, so a late arrival shortens the day rather than putting the ship at risk.
- What happens if the weather turns?
- If Jeremy cancels before departure for weather or safety, you choose an agreed alternative date or a full refund, and on a port day that usually means the refund. A charter that runs safely is not refunded because conditions were less than ideal. Cancel at least 48 hours before departure for a full refund.
- Can you pick us up at the cruise terminal?
- No. There is no public pontoon at the terminal, so the boat leaves from the New Farm Powerhouse pontoon, about 20 minutes away by taxi or rideshare.
- Are children counted in the seven?
- Yes. The boat carries seven guests at most, and children count toward the seven, whatever their age.
